I realise I am now living in a Classic free environment with no
Classic software in use anymore. I am keen to remove it from my drive.
My only known link with the past is through my copy of Office2004
which was an upgrade of OfficeX which was an upgrade of Office98
(Classic). If I ever have to do a clean install from scratch, rather
than an archive and install, can Office2004 be persuaded of my bona
fides without actually installing Office98? When I set up this G5
that is what I had to do. Adobe software allows clean installs, a
look at the earlier CD, without actually installing, satisfies it
that you are genuine.
Any comments and advice would be welcomed.
