I am trying to rationalise the investment in a web cam, an idea
reawakened by Robert Howells drawing attention to the iMage camera.
My sons have been urging this on me for some time for use with Skype
for regular family hookups and I thought they were going to give me
one for Christmas but they were overly generous in other ways.
Can anyone give advice on this, ie other uses for a webcam given that
I already have a topnotch Sony videocamera which in fact can be
recognised by Skype but is rather inconvenient to set up just for this.
The only other use I can think of is to set up a live video chat site
and that is not quite in our line!
