Hi All! With the Stevenote only hours away, I thought I would start the prediction ball rolling.
My long shot pick on the Apple phone thingy. Its the widescreen iPod, a la Nokia N800 <http://www.nokiausa.com/N800/1,9008,main:1,00.html> Very interesting little device. An Apple version of this would fit squarely with the iChat Mobile moniker floating around. Chuck in Inkwell (good thing they kept all that Newton IP!), plus mobile versions of Quicktime, Mail and iCal, and you have one tasty little iPod. Which also ties in very well with the other WSJ rumour - Apple have signed a contract with Cingular, which happen to be the biggest wireless provider in the US. I think the phone thing has been done to death, and I can't honestly see Apple beating that dead horse. But a 4 or 8gig N800 competitor with lots of Apple savvy would be an awesome device. It will make the Origami wannabes look horrible, and really give a rev up MS. That's my hot tip folks! Seeya Rod!
