Hi everyone. I have an iMac OSX 10.4.8 and an external hard disk which I use as a back-up using SuperDuper to give me an exact clone of the iMac.
I ran DiskWarrior ( V4) on the iMac and it said my hard disk was too damaged to rebuild and I should back up everything. It seemed to be working just fine. I ran Disk Utility and it could find no problem. I backed up and then ran DiskWarrior on the external hard disk which was successfully rebuilt. Seeing as the external hard disk is a clone of the iMac does that indicate there is a PHYSICAL problem with the iMac HD - not a software problem - and I should have it replaced immediately?
