To be honest Neil, every Mac I have bought that has a Mighty Mouse, I put
the mouse back in the box and buy a Logitech or Microsoft mouse instead.
Good idea, not so good implementation.
I use a Microsoft Laser 6000 mouse. A little pricey, but should last me as
long we need mice to interact with Macs :-)

I agree with Rod
We tried everything with ours. We still have a 'large' bottle of
isopropyl alcohol.
My feeling is that cleaning, which works, eventually kills the middle
button somehow.
Our middle click disappeared on two separate mice.
Instead of accepting a 4th mouse from Nextbyte, we insisted on our money
back.
They complied and I put it towards a new iPod Shuffle.
The no-name $15 3yo mouse is still going strong...
