In theory you should receive about 6.95 as an acceptable download speed.
'Teh' number accepted is to divide the connection rate, in this 64 by 9.2
which gives you a fairly accurate guess on what speed you should be
receiving.

EG: 512 / 9.2 = 55 which is what most people get on a 512 connection!

Hi,

Can some kind soul please help me convert '64k' to KB/sec (as in the  
readout from the Network tab in Activity Monitor).

By 64k, I mean as in 'Currently shaped to 64k' (by iiNet).

I am seeing around 3-10KB/sec.
