That hasn't worked either.
Thanks for the suggestion though. I have used Photo Booth quite a
bit, find it very useful, this is the first time it has done this.

Hi Wendy,
Try from the Apple Menu (top of Screen) 'Force Quit'.
You are not the only person experiencing this problem with Photo Booth.
