Hi All
Last week I suddenly lost all of the Photo's in iPhoto, all files
were empty.
I contacted Daniel Kerr who advised me to look in Hard Drive/ Users/
your name/Pictures.
I followed Daniel's advice and found ALL of the photo's in their
various files, my problem now is "how" do I get the Photo's back
into iPhoto?? I have tried to import and drag and drop without
success, a message comes up on the screen telling me that I can't
import the Photo's to iphoto as they are in the iphoto library!!!!
I've tried several times to contact Daniel but he's gone walkabout
at present.
Can someone shed some light on my problem please.
Hi Tony,
Don't mess around in your iPhoto Library Folder.
iPhoto likes everything in it's correct place.
Are you using iPhoto 6?
If so try rebuilding your iPhoto Library.
1. Quit iPhoto if you have it open.
2. Hold down 'Apple key' and 'Option Key' and launch iPhoto (from
your Dock if you have it there).
3. Use the resulting dialogue to 'Rebuild your Library'.
Another way to achieve this is to:
1. Hold down 'Apple Key' and 'Option Key' and drag your iPhoto
Library Folder to the iPhoto Icon in the Dock.
2. iPhoto should then recognise the Library.
Cheers,
