Thanks to those who must have worked so hard to get the list back on
line. I posted a message just as the list went into meltdown so it
did not appear. Have just been advised that it was undeliverable!!
Which of course I already knew.
This was the message:
"Could some kind person using Skype help me to access Skype SMS. I
have the latest version 2.5 and Skype credits. I did manage to send
one SMS. I think I did this by right clicking on a contact and
selecting "send SMS" but that no longer seems available. The demo in
Skype Help says to click on the down arrow against a contact name. I
don't have that either!
Nor can I add a mobile number. Skype Help suggests going to
Preferences and selecting the SMS icon. There isn't one!"
Update:
I think I might have now have sorted the problem but not how to fix
it. The one SMS I managed to send was after upgrading to 2.5 Skype
for Mac. Now it seems after shutting down my macbook the system has
reverted to the earlier version of Skype which does not support SMS
for Mac. I have the download in my Applications folder but try as I
might can't seem to open it.
Would appreciate any help.
