Hi WAMUGers
Please I need help with an InDesign PhotoBook I am producing:

I have selected a whole pile of photos to use.
Some are scans of photographs and most are digital photos half taken at 3
megapixels and the rest taken at 10 megapixels.

I gather I am going to place them all into the Indesign A3 Book and then
save it as a PDF which I will burn to CD and mail to Digital Davinci who
produce the book from the PDF.

Now, when I do a school newsletter, the printer likes me to apply an Unsharp
mask in Photoshop and convert the photos to TIFF.
Do I need to do these 2 steps, if I am sending just a PDF to Digital Davici?
The TIFFs get really big.
Or do I just do the unsharp mask and keep as jpegs
Or do I do nothing to the jpgs and just insert them directly as is?

Hope I¹m making sense?

Many thanks
Rod
