Hi, so I've tried all of these solutions. Handbrake and Streamclip
work, but exporting from Toast 8 results in error 9011, even though I
now have Quicktime mpeg-2 add on. cheers, susan.

Also if you have Toast 7 or 8 you can Export the Video file to MPEG
4 or many other formats.
Open Toast, choose Video - DVD-Video, drag the Files into the Toast
Window or use The Media Browser.
Choose Export, select the format you want.
