The data for this Modem only lists Windows as Systems useable ,
but having said that ..... Most modems can be used ....PROVIDED .....
you can find a suitable Modem Script
Search on the net for Mac D-Link mentions other D-Link modem models
but NOT this one.
Looking at the list in Tiger 10.4.8 there are NO D-Link scripts
in either
Library - Modem scripts or
System-Library-Scripts
I think you could better use your effort finding a different Modem
that does have some support
