keep the binary code on easy accessible place, logon to
http://10.1.1.1/
as "admin" = password
select advanced setup
select tools
select firmware upgrade
it will ask you to backup the settings, ask you where the bin file
is, and so on
also during the setup/reset/reboot the modem shuts down for ~2 min
and boots by itself, then you may reload the backed up settings...
thats the reason why you can't find an installer.......
