This issue can occur if there is damage to an element of the identity
that is used to start Outlook Express.

Once you are sure you have everything off the iMac G3 that you want
to keep,
do as Murdoch Allen suggests .... Erase your HD and do a clean install.
That is the ONLY way you can be sure everything of you is erased!
