Philippe, what about simply saving the page as a Web Archive using the
File>Save As... menu option (or Command+S) from Safari?
Cheers, Steven

For an open file you could also just do an Apple P and save as a PDF
file ,
however i suspect what Phillipe really wants to do is download a file
without opening it,
which is easy if it's a PDF file but if it's part of a web page I
cannot help

Dear WAMUG'ers,
Can someone please let me know if there is a utility that would
allow me to
download the data held on a Web site?
There is a site containing lots of historical data I am interested in,
however it is quite onerous to read it whilst on-line. I thought that
downloading the data for reading at leisure would be great. There
would be
about 30 or more pages.
Many thanks,
