Right click or click and hold on the excel icon in the dock and
uncheck 'open at login'. This can get turned on by accident when you
launch from the dock.

Please do you know how to stop Excel launching every time I restart?
Just started happening a few days ago.
10.4.9 Intel Powerbook.
The only thing in "startup items" folder is Qmaster.
