Hi Severin,
Yes, thank goodness for Firefox.
I have a number of problems with Safari, with similar situations, and to the extent that Firefox is my prime browser. Safari on my system, which is the same as yours, seems to be a decaying application.
I wonder how many others have found the same thing????

I am an occasional but regular internet customer of OfficeWorks with no problems in the past and tried to place an order today. All fine except that "Proceed to Checkout" emptied my shopping basket and came up with an empty window, apparently a secure site issue. Three tries from scratch gave same result. I am on OSX 10.4.9 and Safari 2.0.4.
With Firefox 2.0.0.3 no problem and order placed and paid for.
Anyone else experienced this or got any comment to offer?
