Hi Wammugers
I'm having some trouble with iTunes 7.1.1. I have a new Mac Pro 8
core running OS 10.4.9 and an old dual 800 G4 running the same
software. What I'm trying to do is load and look at a couple of
hundred cds for a client so that I can identify the dates that they
were made. These are mixed data, video and music. The data and video
ones are fine, but the music ones all load saying that they are the
same cd, which they are not.
So - on the new machine I have only one thing in the music library -
a single by a local group that I am doing a music video for. This
came on a commerical cd supplied by them. Now whenever I load *any*
music cd - it immediately comes up saying that the cd is this single.
This means I can't find the creation date, since the machine believes
that the cd is the new one and gives me the data for the new one.
This happens on both machines. I have heard about some conflict with
Limewire - but I am not running Limewire or any P2P software.
AFAIK this is new since 7.1.1.
Any ideas?
cheers
Jude
