There is a beta version of the Mac connection software available for the modem. I have recently started using Testra Next G because there was no alternative (I live in Banjup: it was either this or carrier pigeons...). I don't like the fact that the modem is USB, although I have heard that there will be a hardware Ethernet adapter available "soon". The connection software won't allow other networks to be available when it connects, so if you want the connection to be shared with other machines, you need to get the connection started first, and then turn on your router or whatever. I have had troubles with sharing over wireless, too. The reliability of the connection is not particularly impressive, so that I need to reboot and start again once every day or two. Once the thing is working, however, I get fairly good speeds. Telstra's customer support is (as usual) essentially non existent. The only real people I have ever been able to interact with are mindless sales drones who generally don't understand the products that they are trying to sell you. If you have specific queries with set up etc, please drop me a line off list.
