Hi Michael,
Neil's recommendation is good, as well as being free.
Just don't delete anything in your system folder and be very careful
deleting anything from your library folder.
Another application for Saving Disk Space is 'OmniDiskSweeper' it's
not free though $14.95US.

Hi Michael,
I find whatsize simple & easy to use to get a quick handle on where
all the
space is being used:

And as an added bonus, it's free! :)

Sometime over the past month the space used on my 40 Gig hard-

from 23 Gig to 38 Gig. It beats me why or how this has happened.
Is there a reliable programme that I can use to find out why and
delete what
ever is no longer necessary?
In the past month I haven't made movies or added photos but have
subscribed
to 3G Mobile in addition to Westnet and have connected to two
other wireless
networks.
OS10.4.10
G3 PowerBook (Firewire) 640 MB ram
Thank you,
