Hi Toby,
Depends on what is more important for you - syncing or taking
photos. To be honest, syncing is more important for me, as I have a
2 Megapixel Canon camera that takes better pics than most cameras on
phones. A good gauge on the quality of cameras on phones are, google
reviews on the N95. It has a 5 megapixel camera. It is the best
camera phone on the market, so the photo quality will be the
benchmark against lower quality phones.
I'd shop around for other phones. IMHO, Sony and Nokia do much
better camera phones than either of the two companies you have
mentioned, and sync perfectly with the Mac. And have better
interfaces to boot :-)

Wamug poll - Do I get a new Samsung A701 which takes reasonable

photos but
syncs with my Mac?
What are your gut instincts? The Moto comes on a $0 telstra plan,
and the
Samsung on a $40 (I don't want to pay for a handset up front).
I pay about $30 a month at the moment, so $40 won't break me. I did
a quick
net search, couldn't find any solution to the Samsung Sync problem
- anyone
else want to weigh in?
Thanks,
Toby.
