iiNet have this off peak download quota thing and it would make
sense to do all the SWupdate downloads after midnight - for those
of us who go to bed early...

It's my impression that SU does its thing based on the last time it
ran: so if you have it set to check on a daily basis, and you run it
at, say, 9:00 am, it will run again at 9:00 am the next day. If you
run it again that day at 4:00 pm, it will run at 4:00 pm the
following day. The same applies if you have it set to check weekly:
if you run it at 9:00 on Friday, it will run a 9:00 am the following
Friday.
