Hi everyone
On startup, a friend of mines MacBook automatically opens Safari,
Address Book, iChat, Quicktime? any idea what may be causing this.
It looks and sounds like a proper restart, even Zapped the P Ram and
it still does it. The fan comes on though it is not hot. I changed
iChats prefs to stop starting on startup but cannot stop the other
apps. It also does it on startup from shutdown.
Look for a widget called "iStat Pro" on VersionTracker or in the
Widgets area on Apple's site. This handy little tool gives an instant
snapshot of your computer's current condition: battery condition,
processor speed and load, temperature, fan speed and lots more.
Especially useful on a laptop.
