Thanks Ronni for all your help.

Summarising a few notes on/off list:
- the error appears to be restricted to iCal/Leopard when dealing with Outlook users. Calendar invites Mac to Mac work fine.
- calendar times from/to Outlook are offset by 1 hr or 8 hrs
- some relevant resources pointed out by you here: http://www.nhoj.co.uk/ - will check out. - curious that my system is on WST (with correct time) and your is on WDT (with correct time). No apparent way to set to WDT.

Glenn.

Sorry people, I just re-read my email to Glenn ...... obviously I cannot type or read what I type?? Should have checked my email before sending ;-( 1PM 'Australia/Perth' appears as 'Australia/Melb' 3PM which IS the correct time for EDT.

I'm getting like Daniel ..... sleep deprived!
See Daniel, I keep saying you need sleep ...... I better take my own advice :-)

Cheers,
