I am doing pretty well learning and using InDesign, but I have a
question and I can't find an answer to it the book I bought.
I have just finished revising and editing a text book of about 118
pages. I would like to insert one page about halfway through the second
(main) section. Some of the pages after the insertion point have screen
shots on. I have drawn some text frames connected to arrows on and
around the screen shots to point out important parts on the screen.
The problem is that when I insert a new page the subsequent pages
renumber (good) but the text frames and the arrows stay on the original
page, that is, they stay on page 42 (bad) instead of going to page 43
with the screen shots they are related to.
I notice there is a "lock" option under the Objects menu but I don't
know whether it locks objects on that page or locks their position with
the text.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
