Hi Guys I had fun upgrading!! I have 3 Macs ! MacBook, MacBook Pro and a dual 2ghz G5. The two Macbooks were fine but the G5 with 2 160gb drives that are striped had real problems, the upgrade failed close to the end of the process and then the drive was unusable!
Even booting off the 10.5 DVD and running disk repair etc was no good I could have course have done a archive and install but thought I would go to my time machine back up. This was very interesting as the backup was not recognised, this is not good, I had also done an backup using superduper and this was fine. So my question is has anyone done a time machine restore?? and did it work? I guess be careful when upgrading to a striped raid or any raid I guess and confirm your time machine backup is valid. I will not be using it again and go back to using superduper.
