Hi Kevin I don't know if this helps, or if you're specifically after Photoshop for a certain feature, but have you considered Photoshop Elements? It does all the things (well maybe not all, but most of the things) that Photoshop does, but without the same price tag. It's a "consumer cut down version" if you like. Still does most things that most people want but at a fraction of the price. Oh, and it's native so it runs really well on Intel Mac's! :o)
