Apparently BigPond blacklisted some ISP's, iiNet was one for a time. Should be rectified now.

Some time ago there was a similar problem. At that time iinet advised me that emails to bigpond addresses were being blocked and there was nothing they could do about it. Eventually it righted itself but in the meantime very frustrating. Particularly having to wait three days before realising the email has not reached its destination.

I'll be interested to know if anyone has any further knowledge of the problem.

not accepted.

- although no Delivery Status Notification has been received as yet, a fourth test email has still not been received despite a number of "receive" attempts which seemed to connect without problem - so it seems bigpond is
still not accepting email to my bigpond address.

Is anyone else with bigpond experiencing similar problems. Anyone have any
ideas?

By the way, just to clarify:

- I used to have bigpond dial-up so have a bigpond email account.
- I went to Broadband with Internode (so all outgoing emails are sent
through the Internode SMTP serverbut kept the cheapest bigpond dial- up
($25/year) to keep my bigpond email address.
