hi folks,
Macbook Pro 2.33 gHz Core 2 keeps dying. dead as a doornail, after a
few hours, like the plug kicked out.
I have decided it is overheating, cause every time this happens the
fan isn't on but the chassis is almost uncomfortably warm. Have
propped it up off the desk but still happens.
downloaded a widget to check temp, but the readout doesn't make
sense... eg "5.19" whatever that means...
if the fan is not kicking in is that a bit of software malfunctioning?
Will the usual things eg permission repair and pram zapping do anything?
