a quick search revealed this program.
"MacCam is a free, open source generic driver for getting unsupported
webcams to work on your Mac. I have a 5~6yr old Logitech camera that I
was doubtful of, but MacCam worked like a charm.
There is a sizable list of supported cameras on the MacCam site. "
