Afternoon,

I'm unsure as to budget etc etc but if you are looking for a professional
company to supply/setup a complete setup I can recommend Xcite Logic.

If there are odd-random issues I can try and help when uni isn't over-running
my life!

Thanks,

Subject: HELP NEEDED: Client/Server setup for medical rooms

HI Everyone,

I was wondering whether anyone subscribing to this list could help. I
have a friend who is setting up his medical consulting rooms. He has
already purchased the practice management software, genie
(http://www.geniesolutions.com.au
), which runs on the 4D database software and is cross-platform.

Ideally he wants a wholly macintosh setup, with a mac server and 3
client computers and basic backup. I don't think this is a big task at
all, but there is a strict deadline of within the next 2 weeks. I have
tried Daniel Kerr of Macwizardry but he does not seem to be available
(must be going to macworld the lucky bugger).

Obviously this is a paying job, I just can't find anyone who is mac
savvy. The people he has been recommended are all PC microsoft trained
nerds who freak out at the word "mac".

If anyone is willing to be involved or knows someone who would
(obviously perth based) I would be most grateful. Please email me at
[email protected]
or you can email Dr. Imani directly - [email protected]. You don't
need to provide the hardware necessarily(unless you can source it of
course), just know what hardware to recommend, and be available to set
it up.

Thanks

Regards

Dave Choy
