Hi WAMUGers,
For those who have purchased a Mac with Leopard since 08-Jun-09, the
Mac OS X Snow Leopard Up-to-Date package provides an update to Snow
Leopard for only AU $14.95.
You must request the Up-to-Date upgrade by the earlier of 90 days
after purchase or 26-Dec-09.

Hi Severin,
You won't be able to install Snow Leopard on your G3 iMac. Snow
Leopard requires an Intel Processor.
The Minimum Requirements for Snow Leopard are:
Mac computer with an Intel processor
1GB of memory
5GB of available disk space
DVD drive for installation

I have a G5 running Leopard and an Intel laptop running Tiger as

as a G3 iMac on Tiger. Does anyone know if I can upgrade direct
from
Tiger to Snow Leopard on the Laptop or do I need to install Leopard
first? Can I use an upgrade $29 copy for this or do I need a full
version. In fact, by an accident I already own two copies of
Leopard. How does all this hang together? I realise I can not
go to
Snow Leopard on the G5.

Hi Severin
The $39 AUD Snow Leopard will only install if Leopard is present.
So you'll
either need to install Leopard first, even before it will start, or
otherwise you have to get the "Box Set", which is a "larger"
installer and
this will let you upgrade from Tiger directly, but it's dearer.
The Box set is $229 AUD. (And comes with iLife '09 and iDVD '09).
You can see more about it here:-
