Hi Tom,

If you did the preparation for Snow Leopard and don't have any add-ons or plugins that are not compatible with Snow Leopard.

Try deleting this preference file:    com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
From the /username/Library/Preferences/ folder.

Then restart your MacBook.

Let us know if this solves your Menu Bar problem please.
