Afternoon,
Very easy once the process has been initiated. Campus Wide SNAP which varies pending on point at campus one is.
Online lectures again pending on part of campus and lecturers etc...
Mac support available in person at Reid Library: online very WinBased, because Macs just connect needing words in right places to connect.
Remember SNAP account is a different password to actual online password.
As there is VPN connections externally using same SNAP account which is basically how laptop will connect whilst on Campus.

All this is activated once the relevant information sessions have been attended usually during O week or other day pending on faculty, this includes library sessions and registration.

If a successful student all will be revealed once package arrive in January next year.

Also do not forget about Student Discounts, and insurance is usually part of household contents, but a good laptop lock is advisable with a relevant length of cable.

Cheers!

Hi WAMUGers
I think i will have a daughter studying at UWA next year.
Does anyone know what the setup with students and macbooks/laptops is?
Do many students use them?
Is there a wireless coverage? Does it cost?
Or is it overkill thinking about sending young daughter off to UWA with a macbook under her arm???
