Yes, done all that Ronni. It may just be the size of this one,
1.3MB. I can see a VERY long time lag after it downloads and before
it starts to play, like 13 secs to download, judged from the modem
lights, then a further 27 secs to start playing.

I use animated GIFs of a series of images, generated from within
Photoshop, as a very convenient way of placing them on a webpage.
However there is a considerable delay in them playing, occasioned
in part by them needing to download in full and then just a lag

a streaming movie, ie can I make a streaming animated GIF?
Hi Severin,
I'm not sure why there is a delay in them playing, did you export
the GIFs as below?
When you created your GIF in PS, File > Export to export the
document as a movie or under the save as option save the file as a
GIF.
Be sure to select Save for Web and Devices (select GIF dithered).
If you want to loop your animation continuously you can select that
option in window that pops up after you have chosen "Save For Web &
Devices". Under the colour table that shows up is "Looping options",
just select "forever" and save it.
You can also pick "others" and select the amount of times you want
your animation to loop.
Cheers,
Ronni
