Thanks Ronni

I've just installed VMware Fusion 2.0.5 and the free upgrade to v2.0.6.

Had trouble with connecting to the network and internet and printing. i was not able to fix and had to get Macs-4-u in Midland to sort it out.

I had checked the OX10.6 system preferences as well.

I will see what Macs-4-u finds out and keep up posted.

Hello WAMUGers,

For the people who have been interested in running VMware Fusion 3.
Free "Take Control of VMware Fusion 3" Simplifies Windows on a Mac.

" Thanks to sponsorship from VMware, we are pleased to provide Joe Kissell's new "Take Control of VMware Fusion 3" for free. In Fusion 3, VMware added 64-bit optimization for Snow Leopard users, Windows 7 support, a simplified process for porting a physical Windows installation to a virtual Mac installation, and better support for graphically intense applications.

Joe covers all this, plus walks readers step-by-step through many possibilities for installing Windows on a Mac, the best ways to configure Fusion, techniques for working effectively in Windows with Mac hardware, and much more."

PS. I have my money (not the house Daniel), on my brother's horse (he is part owner with Simon O'Donnell & a few other connections) of KIBBUTZ in The Melbourne Cup today. KIBBUTZ won The Victoria Derby in 2007, but is coming back from a serious injury. As Simon O'Donnell said this week, "this horse has been to hell and back, we are hoping he is on the way back."
I will be too.

Cheers,
Ronni
