this is the whole file name:
cam01-20100206-101743.h264
it's from a security camera recorder & gets produced when you copy a
sequence of frames to a memory stick for picture printing or for the
police to view,
according the manual it supposed to be a h264 coded file, the
recording unit has not much to choose the format, but i'm looking
once more into that
