Hi Marlene

As Ronni has mentioned, I wouldn't use the USB on the keyboard, as it only
supplies a smaller amount of power. I'd be using the USB on the back of the
iMac.
Secondly, also try repairing Permissions (Using Disk Utility in your
Applications/Utilities folder).


Hopefully those two things should help it run better.
