Hi Stuart,
With the iPad Video, did you press the play as it is downloading? If
you do that the video plays straight away.
You don't fully download it before you view it, if you waited until
it fully downloaded, then yes, it would take a long time.
Yes I did press play as it is downloading. The video then stops and
continues to download and finally restarts. i gave up
It's a great video actually, I'm very impressed with the iPad.

What ADSL Broadband Plan are you on currently? Naturally the fastest
download speed you can get is best ;-)
Where I am, the fastest download I can receive is my Westnet Bundled
Boost (1.5Mb to 8Mb/384k - 10GB/15GB)
Which is only Broadband1 (ADSL1). I did test Westnet's ADSL2+ for a
month, but I wasn't downloading much faster, I was getting faster
upload speeds, but the slight improvement didn't justify the extra
cost of the upgrade.
I am approx. 4.2 kms from the Exchange my connection comes through,
if I was within 2kms I would be able to get faster speeds.
Broadband2+ (Reach) is available in my area now, so I might give it
another try.
We are never happy with our download speeds, we always wanting faster.
