Good Morning All,
To help overcome some issues members had regarding their current
membership status, I offered at the last meeting to set up a database of
members and their contact/currency details. I would like to re-establish the
Membership Number system used some years ago and also look into producing a
card for everyone. The Treasurer has sent me a couple of Excel spreadsheets
with the, as far as he can ascertain, currently paid up members and also one
with a longer list of the older members. From this information I can start
work on the project.

It may also be an idea if we have emergency contact names and phone numbers.
At a later date the database could be upgraded to include the computers
members are using. A list of Corporate and Life membership would also be
useful.
This information will be kept private and only used for WAMUG administrative
purposes.
