Further to my advice to this list about salary packaging an iPad, have
a look at my Maxxia response, after my financial advisor encouraged
and processed my claim.
I think it needs joint action.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to process your claim at this point
of time.
The I-Pad is not an eligible electronic work-related device as its
primary design function is not business related. As yet the ATO has
not provided clarification, and as such, until such time we will not
be allowing this benefit as a work related expenses.
This directive has been forwarded by our Group Taxation Compliance
Manager.
