I am with Westnet. in Albany, like Neil, not on ADSL 2, and I estimate
2km from the exchange. My plan states 1.5Mb/s down and 256kb/s up.
Speednet a little while ago gave 610k down and 180k up. These are
significantly down from a couple of weeks ago. I find Neil's quoted
speeds confusing, as he does, apparently getting more than
theoretical. Having said that, I can right now happily rewatch
yesterday's episode of ABC1 Time Team on iView, so I am happy!
