Hi Barry,

1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
2. Tap the name of the account you want to delete
3. Tap Delete Account in the confirmation alert that appears, tap 'Delete 
Account' again.
The account is immediately t
Removed from the iPad

Then recreate your email account.
