It sounds like a win win for the list Daniel, although I've never used it there are many who would benefit, as long as it's not permitted to become a "For Sale" forum/sell anything site. Most WAMUGGERS have got the point by now that it's not a commercial convenience to be abused. It would assist some people looking for 2nd hand Mac bits 'n pieces I'm sure.
Use discretion & when in doubt, do as Christopher has done... ask...

It's a great list!

regards,

Ken

Is the occasional second hand personal sale item ok on the list? There was nothing in the Ts and Cs on the signup page, but the welcome email made
mention of 'commercial' posts being inappropriate.

Hi Christopher

As far as I'm aware a "once in a blue" For Sale post is ok.
We used to have a separate WAMUG For sale list,..then it got murged.
I tend to make sure the header reads [4Sale] with the item description. Then if someone doesn't want to read it, they know it's selling something ;)

But yes, a good point. Will note this to add it to the next WAMUG committee
meeting to bring it up.

Kind Regards
Daniel
