Interesting...

I see that I have an adlagent folder dated March 2010 in HD:Library:StartupItems. I don't know where it came from. There is also some Nortons/Symantec stuff.

I am considering deleting these items and restarting. Is this likely to cause unforeseen side effects?

Not sure how it relates to your machine, but adl_session appears to be related
to adlagent, which is a Deployment Agent for Linux.

Certainly, I can find now instance of it running on my computer, so it must be
coming from something you've installed. It's unlikely to be a Mac OS X issue, I
would think.

Hi Rob,

You aren't logged into or accessing a Digital Library?

As Peter has mentioned adl_session is not anything to do with Snow Leopard.

Cheers,
