With the Kindle app you can read them on as many devices as you want. Its set
up within your account on the website. So, absolutely no problems reading books
on your ipad and Macbook, the kindle app bookmarks where you have read up to,
so you can read a single book on either device without losing your place.

not sure about the apple ibooks app, have you tried getting an answer online to
this. Anyway, someone else on this list may know.
