The secretary of a not-for-profit organisation to which I belong runs Appleworks 6.2 on his PC and has done so using Window XP and one of its predecessors. I produce a magazine and he sends me the latest database file from which I create labels for a mail out of the magazine. No troubles. However, he recently upgraded to Windows 7 and he says that he can only get Appleworks running if he has QuickTime 4.1 loaded. Of course this presents problems because several of his application want the most recent version of QuickTime. He would like to stay with Appleworks, and so would I so if there is someone who is familiar with the dark side and can suggest a work-around for I would be most grateful.
