A friend has a MacBookPro3,1 (Core 2 Duo 2.2Ghz), 2GB SDRAM, MacOS 10.5.8.
When I open a Finder window the window's Sidebar lists two 'burn' items in the 'Places' section. The item names are "Untitled CD 4" and "Untitled CD", and both have the yellow and black circular 'burn' icon after their name. When I click on either item I get a message that 'The volume for "Untitled 4.fpbf" cannot be found'. When I click on the 'burn' icon behind the item's name the computer asks for a blank CD, and then burns that CD. I end up with a CD that has no files on it. Neither item allows me to drag it out of the Sidebar. A Finder File> Find finds neither item as a visible or invisible file. A Directory rebuild with DiskWarrior 4.3 found lots of problems that were fixed, but the problem items remain. A 'Repair Disk Permissions' also has no effect. Any suggestions about how can I get rid of these two items? Is there a plist I could try deleting?
