My daughter's MacBook Pro has just failed and it will be a week or so before it can up and running again. Meanwhile she needs to access some files and an email from her Time Machine backup
Could somebody tell me please how to access these files, if it's possible, using my MBP? We are both using 10.6.7 Can I, for instance, stop my Time Machine running and disconnect my TM HD. If I then make an a/c for my daughter would she be able to access her Time Machine if it is connected to my computer?
