I have decided that by shifting my Aperture Library masters to an external drive should save me over 100 GB. Ray F suggested I run Yasu or similar - i only run macjanitor and disk utility. cheers blitto

How big is your Hard Drive? How much Free space do you have on your Hard Drive?
I have a 750GB HD My /Library is 22.33GB Size with 57,373 Items My ~Library is 6.29GB Size with 73,797 Items
If you don’t have 25% - 30% free space on your Hard Drive a ‘clean up’ is required, or a larger Hard Drive. My 750GB HD has 563.59GB free … and I like to keep it around this size ;-)
Cheers, Ronni
